The 2009 HensTeeth is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot.
The wine is reddish purple in color with a purple rim. The aromatics show perfumed aromas of stone fruit, berries with a hint of mocha and tobacco. On the palate the wine is expressive with dark fruit flavors, black licorice, kirsch and layers of tobacco and leather on the finish.
With a very full mouth feel, the wine is complimented with a velvety textured tannins and impressive depth. The stone fruit flavors, couple with the smoky oak and bitter chocolate flavors on the finish.
The 2009 HensTeeth is approachable now and will cellar well for a decade or more.
