L’Étoile de Bon Pasteur is the second wine of Le Bon Pasteur and was born with the vintage 2013. A confidential annual production of 5,000 bottles for this wine comes from a selection of the vineyards on a silty clay soil.

These vines receive the same care as those for Château Le Bon Pasteur. As its ‘elder brother’, the same rigorous selection and precision are applied from the vineyard to the cellar. All the expertise of oenologists Michel Rolland and Benoit Prévot contribute to the style and identity to this wine.

Michel Rolland reminds: “For a long time we wanted to produce a second wine of Château Le Bon Pasteur. This is finally done today. L’Étoile is born. Every year, we harvest the grapes from the young vines and replacement vines separately. This wine reflects the terroir but less profound than those from the old vines. We developed this wine as we have imagined, tender, cheerful, delicious. A real pleasure to taste. “
