Abundant rainfall with recurring storms in the spring. The bud-break & bloom periods occurred with no issues. The summer was long/warm with a few extreme heat spikes. We are above the fog 2,200 feet above sea level. Lots of beautiful sunlight. Plenty of “hang time” teasing out excellent color, structure & relatively softer tannins but plenty of grip. Low yield & exceptionally gorgeous ripe fruit. Hand-harvested by family & friends.

Cold soak two days open top fermenters with three daily punch-downs for two weeks then was pressed at dryness to tank. Then the wine was transferred to French barriques 40% of which were new, and was aged 22 months prior to bottling without fining or filtration.
